The Grand Center for Arts and Culture’s mission is to support local artists by offering the programming and tools necessary to explore, develop and nurture their gifts; provide local arts and cultural organizations access to resources which allow them to thrive; and to enrich community life through arts and cultural education and experiences.
The GCAC is a community hub for arts and cultural experiences housed in the former Grand Hotel building. We provide the community with an art gallery, space for music practice, private artist studio spaces, an arts education area, and live performance space.
The live entertainment and performing arts program, hosted on the first level at The Grand Kabaret, offers high-quality, original music, and dramatic arts experiences to the community on Friday and Saturday evenings. The program offers new artists a chance to hone their craft in front of a captive audience, as well as offering seasoned performances to the community at large.
